#LIFT2012

Here are five good reasons to join us at #LIFT2012 this year.

5.     The Location: Silver Mt. Resort in Kellogg, ID

If you’ve never been to Kellogg trust me when I say it’s one of the most picturesque places in the Northwest.

Silver Mt. Features the largest gondola ride in all of North America – 3.1 miles to be exact. Once on top you’re free to hike or bike down or simply snap some scenic shots and catch a ride back down.

Also, did I mention there’s a huge indoor water park with a lazy river and water slides?

It does.

This place is phenomenal and is worth the trip whether it’s for youth camp or a family vacation.

4.     The People

Along with the middle school, high school, and college students of NWLife Church you’ll also be teaming up with Morning Star students from Yakima, WA.

Our partnership with Morning Star has benefited both churches substantially. Their Pastors, Micahn and April Carter, were saved and served as leaders in Pastor Brian and Shari’s youth ministry.

In addition to great leaders you’ll meet while at camp, you’ll also have some great accommodations that allow for friendships to form. The spacious two bedroom units we rent have space for six students and two leaders.

Come ready to meet new people and make lasting friendships.

3.     The Food

I know it might sound crazy but the food at camp is really good.

This isn’t your typical camp food menu. Our cooks work hard at providing excellent food in plentiful quantities. Oh yeah, and each night after our evening service they provide a late-night snack.

Still hungry? Use your extra money at one of the various Silver Mt. Resort restaurants; there are seven to choose from. Hint: Find the one that serves the breakfast burrito.

2.     The Services

One of the best things about #LIFT2012 is the services.

The night services feature incredible worship with our camp band. The worship is experiential (not just the kind you watch), meaning you may sweat a little. Inspiring and challenging messages from our camp speakers and time for leaders to pray with and encourage students.

The morning services feature practical teaching designed to help you grow spiritually and in your leadership.

1.     The God of Grace

Something incredible happens when students commit to spending a week with God. He never seems to disappoint. #LIFT2012 is an opportunity to connect with the God of Grace, Jesus. He loves you, believes in you, and wants the best for your life.

He’s coming to camp and so should you.
