I remember racing home from my Junior High School in an effort to get to the mail before my parents.
It was progress report week and I knew they wouldn’t appreciate my so called ‘progress.’
Sometimes I’d make it in time to stave off grounding; other times it was no Nintendo for a month.
Progress reports are mostly a thing of the past now with parents having online access to their kids grades.
Yet I still think a progress report is in order here today on July 5th, 2013.
Seven and half weeks ago I challenged any and all who were interested to join me in losing weight and getting fit this summer.
The post was titled Confessions of a Stress Eater.
I suggested using the Lose It app as your guide.
Here were my stated goals:
Current Weight: 208 lbs
Goal Weight: 185 lbs
Now for the progress report…
At three weeks I was already down 10 lbs to 198, then it happened… I stopped tracking.
As of this morning I’m at 200 lbs even and it’s time to get serious again.
So that’s it. A simple public confession to keep me moving in the right direction.
I’ve got 15 lbs to go and I know I can do it.
