Here is a collection of Venn diagrams that I recently came across.

Venn Diagrams show what happens when separate events collide.

The collision (intersection) is the outcome.

The final Venn diagram shows what happens when God has adopts us as his very own child and places us into a bigger family (the church).

The result is that we become adopters ourselves. We look for orphans and welcome them into relationship with God and us (the church).

2 Corinthians 5.18-21 describes this as the ministry of reconciliation. Since we’ve been reconciled by Christ we must go and do the same!
